PITTSBURGH -- Steelers linebacker Lawrence Timmons was taken to the hospital after suffering a shin injury in the first half of the Steelers-Eagles game.
Timmons jogged off the field early in the second quarter, but after further evaluation, he's done for the game, and possibly a while. Timmons is one of three Steelers linebackers who got hurt in the game. Ryan Shazier (right knee) and Jarvis Jones (ankle) returned to action after brief stints out.
Timmons, 30, a 10-year veteran, has 10 tackles on the season and nearly 900 stops for his career.
