Steelers' Landry Jones set to make third NFL start vs. Patriots

Landry Jones will make his third NFL start this afternoon when the Steelers play host to the Patriots at Heinz Field. Subbing for the injured Ben Roethlisberger, who had surgery Monday to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee, Jones carries a 1-1 record as a starter into the contest.

There are no surprises on the inactive list today. Roethlisberger was scratched, along with six others who had been ruled out by head coach Mike Tomlin Friday afternoon following practice. Right tackle Marcus Gilbert, defensive end Cam Heyward, safety Shamarko Thomas, offensive lineman Cody Wallace, receiver Markus Wheaton and running back DeAngelo Williams will miss the game, as well.
