Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier missed most of training camp with a hamstring injury, but he returned to practice Friday and took some reps for the first time in weeks.
Shazier said he won’t play Sunday when the Steelers play host to the Falcons in the second preseason game, but he is hopeful to get in at least one preseason game before the regular season begins.
“I definitely want to get out there so I can get warmed up into the season,” said Shazier, who made his first Pro Bowl last season. “You don’t want to go out there without any action against anyone else and be rusty.
