NFL commissioner Roger Goodell held his annual state of the league press conference on Friday and in case you missed it, below is a transcript of what he said as provided by the league.
Opening Statement:
“Good morning and welcome to Super Bowl 50. It sounds good. We’re glad you’re all here. Let me start by congratulating the two teams, the Broncos and the Panthers. It’s a terrific matchup with the number-one seeds. We look forward to the great game on Sunday. Sunday will close another season of competitive excellence. We had a record number of close games and so many wonderful and exciting comebacks.
