New Steelers cornerback Artie Burns arrived on the South Side today, thrilled to be wearing a uniform he kept calling “black and yellow” and ready to do whatever necessary to help improve the team’s secondary.
“There’s no better feeling,” Burns said. “There are no words I can put in pace to explain my emotions that I have right now. All I can say is that I’m aiming for that seventh trophy.”
Burns, a 6-foot, 193-pound cornerback flew to Pittsburgh today to meet with coach Mike Tomlin, general manager Kevin Colbert and position coach Carnell Lake before being introduced to the media.
