Headed into the draft, there was no doubt that the Steelers still had a big need at corner. Many thought they might take another first rounder, but they ultimately waited until round three to pull the trigger.
In one of the deepest defensive back classes in recent memory, this is not a bad thing at all. The team brought in two high upside players in Watt and Smith-Schuster in the first two rounds. They then got a very good corner in Cam Sutton in their first pick of round three.
Cam Sutton was mentioned multiple places in the 2016 draft, as this Steelers Depot article suggests.
