Ross Ventrone is a player who can make an impact in a facet of the game that rarely gets attention unless something goes wrong. With out a doubt, his path forward for the Steelers is going to revolve around how he plays on special teams, and whether or not they want to roster a player who they, most likely, would not like to see taking defensive snaps.
