Pittsburgh Steelers right tackle left Monday night's game against the Houston Texans with a diagnosed concussion, the team announced.

Mike Adams replaced Gilbert and will likely remain in that spot in the interim while Gilbert goes through all of the normal NFL concussion protocols.

Gilbert has started all six games for the Pittsburgh Steelers this season after he signed a contract extension with the team in August.

Until he fully clears all of the NFL's concussion parameters, Gilbert will remain out until further notice.
