As you get older, there are milestones that occur; some good, some bad, but each serves as a benchmark, or a reminder on how quickly we get old, and how fast time flies. The 15 year anniversary of the demolition of Three Rivers Stadium is certainly one of those milestones. It's cliche to say, "it seems like yesterday" that we sat in a sparce crowd on a summer's day watching the Bucs play, but literally it does seem that way to me.
Three Rivers evolved during a time where it was the "in" thing to build large multi-purpose facilitites that could accomodate not only the city's baseball team, but also the football team.
