Tomorrow morning, Buster Olney will put out his list of the top ten teams in baseball. If you go by his rankings over the last two weeks, the Pittsburgh Pirates don't stack up well against the top teams in baseball.
The lists started off bad with the Pirates getting almost no recognition on each of the first six positions Olney posted. Even with 5-7 players in the Honorable Mention category, the Pirates had no starting pitchers or relievers listed on the first day. That was followed up the next four days by first base, second base, shortstop and third base.
