Pittsburgh's Office of Municipal Investigations is probing an altercation between a city police officer and a Chicago Cubs fan dressed like a goat at PNC Park during last week's National League wild-card game.
A video taken of the incident shows the officer confronting the man, identified only as Dimitri, before putting him in a chokehold and throwing him to the ground.
Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto viewed the video on social media.
“The mayor saw this video on social media last night along with many other people and forwarded it to the chief and to OMI Manager Deborah Walker and asked OMI to investigate,” city spokesman Timothy McNulty said today.
