Rust's two goals give Penguins lead vs. Lightning, 2-1, after two periods of Game 7

After two periods, the Penguins lead the Tampa Bay Lightning, 2-1, in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Eastern Conference final at Consol Energy Center.

A scoreless first period seemed to spur the Penguins as forward Bryan Rust scored 1 minute, 55 seconds into the second period with assists from linemates Chris Kunitz and Evgeni Malkin.

Lightning forward Jonathan Drouin scored unassisted at 9:36 to equalize, but just 30 seconds later, Rust scored again on a rebound from defenseman Ben Lovejoy and Malkin. It was Rust's fifth goal in the playoffs.

The Penguins outshot the Lightning, 21-5, in the second period and 29-10 overall, and Lightning goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy has 27 saves on 29 shots.
