Columbus' Dubinsky faces hearing on cross check to Penguins' Crosby

Blue Jackets center Brandon Dubinsky will have a disciplinary hearing with the NHL Saturday in regards to a cross check to the neck of Penguins center Sidney Crosby tonight.

During the second period of the Blue Jackets' 2-1 overtime home win, Dubinsky hit the back of Crosby's neck with his stick and dropped the Penguins' captain to the ice. Dubinsky was given a minor penalty for cross checking at 18:40 of the period. Crosby left the game momentarily but returned at the start of the third period.

The NHL's Department of Player Safety announced the hearing via Twitter.
