Penguins Re-Assign Four Players to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton

The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned forward Scott Wilson and defensemen Derrick Pouliot, Taylor Chorney and Brian Dumoulin to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.

Wilson, Chorney and Dumoulin all saw action for the Penguins in their first-round playoff series against the Rangers, with all three making their NHL playoff debuts, while Pouliot was Pittsburgh’s rookie of the year this season.

Pouliot had seven points (2G-5A) in 34 regular-season games with Pittsburgh. He had 24 points (7G-17A) in 31 AHL regular-season contests, earning him a spot in the AHL All-Star Classic.
