The inaugural NBA Awards show: How Doug Haller voted

The playoffs are over. The draft is done. Before free-agency craziness starts Saturday, the NBA has one more moment that deserves your attention:

Its first awards show.

The 90-minute show airs Monday at 6 p.m. on TNT and will feature six main awards: MVP, Coach of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Sixth Man of the Year and Most Improved Player.

MVP, of course, will prompt the most debate. Oklahoma City’s Russell Westbrook, Houston’s James Harden and San Antonio’s Kawhi Leonard are the finalists.

In addition, the TNT show also will feature final voting on single-game awards, as selected by fans.
