Suns set to transfer energy, bond to opener

The sounds of a Suns opening night at Talking Stick Resort Arena are unique, especially when the arena has been void of NBA noise for six months.

The new player introduction video. A full house or near sell-out crowd. P.J. Tucker yelling at that one quiet moment.

The Suns have been longing for this night, when a Wednesday home opener against Sacramento can begin to distance this team from the one that went 23-59 last season for the franchise’s worst record since 1969.

The youthful Suns’ emotional cup might overflow, considering that the practice court has been full of noise, energy and excitement for several weeks.
