The Suns got back to familiar surroundings this week, and the results have stayed familiar, too.
The Suns continue to be unable to find their happy place, dropping their third consecutive home game in sad fashion to stretch out this dreadful fall to the worst 24-game stretch in Suns franchise history.
For anyone who missed the Jazz rout the Suns on Dec. 20, the format repeated Saturday night with another dominant first quarter – 29-11 at one point then, 31-12 after the first quarter Saturday. It was plenty enough for Utah to overwhelm the undermanned Suns in a 98-89 win at Talking Stick Resort Arena.
