When I was made aware of Stoudemire’s decision, I took to Twitter, first fondly remembering his time here, and then wondering, “Why the heck would he retire a Knick?”
I will always have fond memories of Amare Stoudemire. Especially those perfect passes from Steve Nash that turned into big dunks #STAT

I will say though that Stoudemire signing a one-day contract with the Knicks is kind of insulting. His best years were here in Phoenix
