For most of the past two months, Markieff Morris fell out of favor with many Suns fans for his media comments and tweets about wanting out of Phoenix.
Morris knows he has work to do to regain their support, starting with Wednesday night's Suns preseason opener against Sacramento in front of the home fans.
“I’ll win them back,” Morris said after Wednesday’s shootaround as he walked into the Talking Stick Resort Arena locker room. “That’s all I can say about that.”
Morris already heard some of the fans’ furor Saturday night when a hip injury kept him out of the team’s intrasquad scrimmage at Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
