Hornacek Talks Competitive Western Conference, Suns’ Backcourt

It truly is a wild, wild West(ern) Conference this season.

The Suns fell to the Spurs in San Antonio Monday night, but still find themselves as one of the top seeds in the Conference. Currently sitting at 7-7 on the season, Phoenix is only one of six teams in the West with a .500 or better record.

“We play 82 games so if you lose a couple games in a row you can’t go crazy,” Hornacek said. “I looked at the standings late last night, and this is how crazy the NBA is this year, I think we’re 5th in the West still at 7-7.
