It has widely been rumored that the Phoenix Suns might have interest in, and make a play for, current Atlanta Hawks power forward Paul Millsap. The two-way player would be an ideal fit for Phoenix on a short-term contract if the team wants to begin to compete now while the youngest players on the roster continue to develop. Many Suns fans believe that his presence on the roster might stunt Marquese Chriss and Dragan Bender’s development, however, there is an argument to be made for Phoenix signing Millsap to a two or three year deal.
Then again, that may have all changed this morning with the Chris Paul trade.
