When news officially broke yesterday that Knight had torn his ACL in a Pro-Am pickup game in South Florida, the team and fans were thrown for a loop that they had never expected to occur. Due to the injury, Brandon Knight will most likely not play for the team this coming season (which, due to the injury itself as well as the severity is almost a foregone conclusion). However, while some fans had hoped that that outcome would happen anyway, most would have believe that he would either have been traded, waived, or bought out – the three most likely scenarios that might have fully ended his career in the Valley of the Suns.
