3 Burning Questions For The Phoenix Suns This Offseason

It was a frustrating season altogether for the 2014-15 Phoenix Suns, and there's plenty of uncertainty surrounding the club heading into a pivotal summer in Arizona. Here's our list of 3 Burning Questions For The Phoenix Suns This Offseason.

1. Can/Will The Suns Re-Sign Brandon Knight?

The talented trade deadline acquisition played in just one of the team's last 17 games due to an ankle injury. He is slated to become a restricted free agent this July, and he will undoubtedly command significantly more than the $3.5 million he made in 2014-15. The four-year pro is interested in returning to Phoenix, but it's not a sure thing that the Suns will be willing to meet him in the financial middle in free agency.

2. Was This The Last Ride Of The Morris Twins?

Markieff and Marcus were already on thin ice after a joint felony aggravated assault accusation this January, and things didn't get much better from there, culiminating in Markieff's well-publicized shouting match with coach Jeff Hornacek. Entering year two of their respective extensions, rumors are running rampant that one or both of the twins could be dangled as trade bait as the offseason goes on.

3. Is Phoenix Ready For A Youth Movement?

Eric Bledsoe is here to stay, but what about second-year players Alex Len and Archie Goodwin, and rookie T.J. Warren? All three have plenty of potential to be key franchise anchors, but they also have tons of trade value attached to them if the Suns want to look for a proven, veteran producer in the trade market. If the Suns stand pat, expect the aforementioned trio to spearhead a youth movement in the Valley of the Sun.
