BOSTON -- Arizona Coyotes captain Shane Doan said he has not waived his no-trade clause.
His status has remained the same the last few seasons around the trade deadline. He explained he would only waive his no-trade clause if the deal was a perfect fit for both sides. He said he doesn't expect that to change because there aren't many teams in the market for a 40-year-old, fourth-line winger. Doan admitted he's had conversations with Arizona GM Chayka about such a scenario.
"We've talked off and on about different things and they've been so respectful to me with whatever happens, and it's been good," Doan said.
