Arizona Coyotes' Alexander Burmistrov released from hospital following hit

BOSTON – Coyotes center Alexander Burmistrov was carted off the ice on a stretcher during Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Bruins and taken to hospital following an open-ice hit but was later released and going to rejoin the team.

“Sounds like he’s going to be all right,” coach Dave Tippett said.

Just 3:49 into the second, Burmistrov was leveled by Bruins defenseman Colin Miller inside the Arizona blue line after accepting a pass from defenseman Jakob Chychrun. After Burmistrov made a second touch on the puck to move it up ice, Miller collided with Burmistrov as he reached for the puck.
