Real Salt Lake's Kyle Beckerman suspended for match against Union

The MLS Disciplinary Committee has suspended Real Salt Lake midfielder Kyle Beckerman for one game and issued an undisclosed fine for violent conduct in the 16th minute of Salt Lake’s match against Seattle Sounders FC on May 20 (VIDEO). Beckerman will serve the suspension during Salt Lake’s next match on Saturday, May 27 against the Philadelphia Union (8 p.m. kick on CSN).

Beckerman has started nine games for Real Salt Lake this season, playing more than 763 minutes for the team. With his suspension, Omar Holness will most likely project into the lineup.
