The Phils bring a six-game winning streak into St. Louis tonight for the opener of a four game series.
Pete Mackanin’s squad beat Cleveland 2-1 on Sunday at Citizens Bank Park to complete a weekend sweep. This was the second straight series sweep for the Phils.
This surge has improved the Phillies to 15-10 this season. They remain in third place in National League East, but they have pulled to within 2 1/2 games of first-place Washington.
