Playoff lesson for Flyers: Revolving goalies are the norm

Almost immediately after the Flyers were eliminated by the Capitals this spring, general manager Ron Hextall was asked over and over again about his goaltender situation.

Steve Mason’s stellar play over the last 12 games of the regular season was a big reason the Flyers had even reached the playoffs. Michal Neuvirth had literally stolen two games from Washington in extending the first round to six games.

So, of course, which one are you going to trade?
