Flyers looking for some luck in Saturday's NHL's draft lottery

As a "reward" for missing the playoffs, the Flyers will participate in the NHL draft lottery Saturday night in Toronto and have a chance to get one of the first three overall picks in the June 23 draft.

The lottery will determine the draft's first 15 selections.

The Flyers' odds of getting the top selection are just 2.2 percent. Colorado, at 18 percent, has the best chance to get the No. 1 overall pick, which is likely to be center Nolan Patrick of the Brandon Wheat Kings in the Western Hockey League. He is a former WHL teammate of Flyers rookie Ivan Provorov.
