Three Eagles Released On Tuesday

The Eagles continued to trim down the roster on Tuesday, releasing fullback Ryan Mueller , linebacker Brandon Hepburn and running back Ross Scheuerman. The move comes one day after the Eagles released wide receiver Freddie Martino and Jerome Couplin. The Eagles needed to cut a number of veteran players to make room for the incoming class of undrafted free agents.

Mueller and Sheuerman were both added by the Eagles this offseason in hopes of providing depth in the backfield. Sheuerman originally signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers as a rookie free agent following the 2015 NFL Draft and spent the final four weeks of his rookie campaign on the Green Bay Packers practice squad.
