Report: Dallas Cowboys to be fined $250,000 over suspensions

The Dallas Cowboys' lack of discipline off the field is about to cost more than what suspensions will already cost the team on the field.

Because the Cowboys have three players suspended for various rules breaches at the same time, they could get hit with a fine in excess of $250,000 from NFL headquarters.

With at least three players suspended for part of the 2016 season, the Dallas Cowboys will be subject to a fine in the range of $250,000, based on last year's club remittance policy.

The league still is formulating this year's fine schedule, which is based on the number of players suspended on a single team.
