Philadelphia Eagles receive compensatory draft pick from Browns

The NFL has awarded 32 compensatory draft picks to 16 teams. While the Philadelphia Eagles didn’t receive a compensatory pick directly from the NFL, they will receive an extra pick from the Cleveland Browns as part of last season’s trade for quarterback Carson Wentz, giving the team eight total selections in the 2017 NFL Draft.

Cleveland was awarded a total of four compensatory draft selections. Two of those are fourth-round selections. One is for the No. 139 overall selection and the other is for the No. 142 overall selection in the draft.
