A good friend of mine who lives in Las Vegas and bets sports for a living loved Carolina in the Super Bowl. I am not sure what kind of bets he made, but I did hear something about the money line so I am thinking he may have laid the odds and just needed Carolina to win the game, not necessarily cover the six-point spread.
His reasoning made perfect sense to me. He did not think Denver’s offense could score. He thought the only way the Panthers could lose was if they turned it over multiple times and self-destructed.
