It didn’t take long for Marcus Smith to find a new home, as he will sign with the Seattle Seahawks, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Seahawks are signing former Eagles first-round pick Marcus Smith, per source. Smith cleared waivers Thursday.
The Eagles selected Smith out of Louisville in the first round of the 2014 NFL draft, but released him Wednesday after three uneventful seasons where he recorded 12 combined tackles and only four sacks.
Smith cleared waivers Thursday and will now join a defensive line in Seattle that includes perennial Pro Bowlers Michael Bennett and Cliff Avril, and a potential star in Frank Clark.
