Star Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott is in hot water.
As you may recall, Elliott was connected to a domestic violence incident that occurred in 2016. While he was never charged with a crime, the NFL is still investigating the situation and, if it is proven that Elliott is indeed guilty of domestic violence, he could be suspended by the league.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, it’s looking more and more like that suspension could be on the horizon.
I think that there is a growing sense that he could face some sort of short suspension here in the coming weeks at some point once the NFL wraps up it’s investigation.
