Ex-Eagles QB Chase Daniel to visit Jets after meeting with Saints

Former Eagles quarterback Chase Daniel's efforts to find a new team to play for will take him to the New York Jets this week, according to the New York Daily News' Manish Mehta.

The Jets currently have two quarterbacks on their roster, Bryce Petty and Christian Hackenberg. Whether any of them is a potential starter is another story.

On Sunday, Daniel visited the New Orleans Saints, according to ESPN's Adam Caplan. The Saints definitely have a starter in Drew Brees, though since he's 38, the team reportedly could draft a quarterback this year to serve as Brees' successor down the road.
