Carson Wentz Not Satisfied With Rookie Year

Quarterback is still bothered by the 2016 season.

The No. 2 overall pick accomplished quite a bit in a whirlwind rookie season. He was named the starting quarterback just eight days before the start of the regular season after Sam Bradford was traded to Minnesota. This was after playing in just one preseason game due to a rib injury.

Wentz and the Eagles started the year strong winning their first three games. Individually, Wentz was named the NFL's Offensive Rookie of the Month for September and set the all-time NFL rookie record for completions in a season.
