Brandon Boykin signs with Chicago Bears

Brandon Boykin is back in the NFL. The former Philadelphia Eagles cornerback signed a contract with the Chicago Bears on Wednesday.

The 26-year-old Boykin hasn't found stability since being traded away by Chip Kelly last summer. He only saw limited playing time with the Steelers in 2015 before Pittsburgh allowed him to walk in free agency. Boykin signed a one-year deal with the Panthers before Carolina released him less than two months later. The Atlanta Falcons and Dallas Cowboys hosted Boykin on free agent visits, but both teams ultimately passed on him.

Boykin's plight is odd because he was such a productive player in Philadelphia.
