After dealing cornerback Brandon Boykin to the Pittsburgh Steelers, Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly has announced that he will not be trading away linebacker Mychal Kendricks. This announcement comes despite a flood of rumors that Kendricks has been on the block for a while.
Kendricks, 24, has been a star on the Eagles defense in his four season. Even though Kendricks has been so good, he has still be rumored to be moved for some time.
This seemed even more likely when the Eagles acquired star young linebacker Kiko Alonso from the Buffalo Bills.
