According to a report from Vaughn McClure of ESPN, veteran offensive lineman Chris Chester will not be signing with the Philadelphia Eagles. Instead, Chester has agreed to a deal with the Atlanta Falcons.
A report from Adam Caplan on Friday afternoon indicated that the Eagles and the Falcons were the two teams in the mix for the veteran. Chester just recently became a free agent earlier this week after being released by the Washington Redskins.
It's not as if the Eagles desperately needed Chester, but the team still does have question marks along the offensive line.
