GALLOWAY, N.J. -- The 76ers had dinner with Philadelphia native and actor Will Smith Monday night at One Liberty Place. Smith is a minority owner of the team.
“Man, that was one of the idols,” Noel said.
Smith gave the players advice and gave his opinion to what were his best and worst movies. The Sixers were unaware that he was going to show up for their team dinner.
So what was the reaction when Smith walked into the room?
“Starstruck,” said Noel. “It’s hard to get starstruck nowadays. But when you see Will Smith, it’s a whole different ballgame.
