The Philadelphia 76ers revealed a new line of uniforms this season to go along with a new branding initiative. It embraced the history of the team, utilizing stars and stripes and taking on a motto of “Since 1776.” They kept the red, white, and blue that had been a part of the last rendition of uniforms, but they were much more sleeker, and had a classic look to them. They were accepted by most fans.
Now, though, the fans are calling for more. With the NBA being more liberal with the types of uniforms that teams wear nowadays — sleeved jerseys are apparently in, no matter what LeBron James thinks — fans of the Sixers want to see their team get in on the different uniform styles.
