Okay, that was expected. But when you are a young team building a roster for a rapid improvement in this NBA, there are plenty of places to begin looking. So to make it simple to follow, we simply point at everything and then go through a process of elimination.
It’s a much shorter list to list what the team does NOT need. As of the pre-NBA draft roster, the Philadelphia 76ers do not need:
A starting NBA center – make your choice among Joel Embiid, Jahlil Okafor, and Nerlens Noel
A starting NBA power forward – make your choice among Carl Landry, Richaun Holmes, Dario Saric, and the center who is the odd man out among Embiid, Okafor, or Noel.
