As soon as Ben Simmons was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers, the comparisons started rolling in. Since LeBron James and Ben Simmons both are good passers with a strong body type, that wasn’t much of a surprise. So far, the only thing the two have in common as far as NBA careers go is being a top overall pick. Simmons, although he has said he wants to create his own legacy, would have proven a lot if he were to come near the level of LeBron.
But nonetheless, Simmons and James are being compared. They probably will be until both of them are retired, and then 10 years after that.
