If you thought that there might be some sort of a power trip between Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid this season on the Philadelphia 76ers, check again. The two are already becoming the best of friends off of the court, indicating that maybe they could be a power duo once they’re on the floor together.
Embiid, drafted in 2014, has yet to play a single second of professional basketball, but Brett Brown has said that he’s on track to come back for the preseason. Ben Simmons is a true rookie coming out of LSU, selected with the top overall pick.
