Sixers deal Jason Thompson to Warriors for Gerald Wallace

Forward/center Jason Thompson has been traded by the 76ers to the Golden States Warriors, who will send forward Gerald Wallace to Philadelphia.

The 29-year-old Thompson has averaged 9.4 points. 6.9 rebounds, and 1.1 assists while seeing 26.5 minutes through 541 games during the regular season, a number which includes 405 starts. Originally selected by the Kings in 2008, Thompson put himself among many top 10 lists in Sacramento Kings history until being included as part of the deal that sent Nik Stauskas to Philadelphia on July 9.

Wallace, 33, came from Boston before arriving in Golden State, in exchange for David Lee with Chris Babb.
