76ers Rumors: Jason Richardson Open To Re-Signing With Philly

Veteran swingman Jason Richardson enjoyed his role as a mentor with the Philadelphia 76ers this past season, and the 34-year-old is open to re-signing with the team and continuing his work with the team's core of young talents.

"I don't have a problem coming back here," said Richardson, via Philly.com. "I like every guy in this locker room, believe it or not. . . . And I love coach Brett [Brown]. He's one of my favorite coaches of all time. So, yeah, I'm really open to [coming] back."

Richardson's contract expires in June.

The 34-year-old returned for the first time in over two years on February 20th, returning aafter suffering a major cartilage tear in the right side of his left kneecap back in January of 2013.

While J-Rich struggled to find consistency at times, he did post 9.1 points and 3.5 rebounds per game in 19 contests for the 76ers during the 2014-15 season.
