Only a handful of teams closed the year as well as the Penn State Nittany Lions. After starting the year 2-2, Penn State won each of its regular season game and the Big Ten title game before losing a heartbreaker in the Rose Bowl to USC.
The future is bright for PSU, but they must take a step forward and compete for the Big Ten title. That's the goal for PSU this year, plus getting into the College Football Playoff after last year's snub.
