Penn State has really struggled in special teams over the past few seasons, particularly in the kicking and punting department. There were several times in which the Nittany Lions were unable to change field position with a good punt. Junior Daniel Pasquariello has been the most consistent of the Penn State punters, but he’ll have to battle with a returning player and a newcomer to keep his job this season.
Pasquariello has split time with Chris Gulla the past two seasons, as each have had their share of struggles.
However, it was Pasquariello who made the majority of starts in 2015, giving him the best chance to begin 2016 as Penn State starting punter.
