Penn State falls to +5.5 vs Pitt from open at +9; is "wise-guy" money driving the number down?

Don't know if you've noticed, but the Penn State-Pittsburgh game that was first posted in May by the South Point Casino as Pitt -9 has dropped all the way down to -5½ at its hotel counter, according to Vegas odds consultant Tony Sinisi. This is probably an indication of some shrewd early money piling on Penn State, he said:

"Typically, these games that are posted much in advance lend themselves to bettors who put a lot of time and effort into what they deem will be these lines down the road," Altoona native Sinisi said on Tuesday night.
